I can’t count how many times I jumped or ran right off a cliff, or ran into a rock or tree and took damage. 2. Ewolnevets • 5 yr. ago. Owl 2 is easily the hardest in my opinion, if not Saint Isshin. 26.After 310 logged hours, getting all achievements, beating the game on NG+7, grinding all inner bosses until I could beat them without taking damage, beating the Resurrection mod, and beating the Long May The Shadows Reflect mod, all charmless with bell demon, I don't think I'm getting more Serotonin out of this game.

Hello everyone! Hope you guys are having fun playing this game. Well, Sekiro isn't ridiculously difficult, but it's fairly decent. It's a much better step-up for me from FromSoftware over Souls series as Sekiro has a colorful captivating world filled with beautiful sceneries, unlike most Souls games which are rather dark, dull and bleak, which makes me fell asleep.

In hirata estate next to a bonfire with enemies around it. To the right of a sculptors idol. To get to hirata estate. You must get the bell from the old woman in the house (just a bit backtracking before chained Ogre location) and then pray at the shrine at the dilapidated temple. 50.

Slightly slower right to left sword slash, then overhead slash- dodge the first slash, then run at him and attack a few times. Head slam, then possibly two followup head slams (with odd timing)- deflect the first, wait to see if more are coming and if so, deflect. Counterattack a few times when it's safe. Sekiro is a very deliberate game. Most fights can be done with just R1 and L1, so find the rhythm of the fight and focus on deflecting while sneaking one or two attacks in when you can get away with it.Just play in Windowed mode and that program will make it borderless, I use it for all Soulsborne games. There’s only one ending that’s truly opaque/likely requires a guide. The other 2 “good-ish” endings are relatively straightforward, I felt, so long as you exhaust all dialogue and explore thoroughly. The “bad” ending will be really obvious: you’ll be asked to make a clearly evil choice. Nexxes • 4 yr. ago.Stealth is important for this game. Finished Elden Ring and now playing Sekiro (midway trough the game). Unless you limit yourself in what you use Elden Ring, like not using summons, not over-leveling to a certain difficult boss, no cheesy tactics, Sekiro is way harder. However, Sekiro is fair, so there is no bs. It's all about your skill.Phase 1 (pure sword) Hit him twice and then block because 90% of the times he will strike you back immediately after 2nd hit. At that point the game became 10x more fun. Sekiro has the most rewarding combat system of any game I played. It punishes ineptitude extremely hard but rewards proficiency in equal measures. Most generically useful combat art that doesn't cost spirit emblems. So I had bad tearing issues and I was unlocking the frame rate and putting widescreen on. The solution was to find the sekiro.exe file, properties, disable full screen optimizations. No more tearing. Its designed to be a pared down experience of a souls game, so you'll find it is MUCH smaller scale (map size and RPG mechanics) than elden ring is. Sekiro also has, in my opinion, the coolest combat style of any of them.Definitely worth it in my books. Yes, Sekiro may have the best game combat system imo, and I considered DS the best before. In the beggining you may feel you suck (at least this happened to me), but at some point in the beggining you'll just understand how it works and the game will be an awesome sword dance.Rule: -Only enemies that drop memories can be counted as bosses. -Bosses that you have to fight directly after another one is considered 1 boss. Guys I know. My criticism isn't just that the Ogre boss is just hard it's that he's hard in an unfun way, that doesn't particularly showcase how good Sekiro's combat is, and putting him that early (if at all) was a mistake. I have flown through the game since then and had a lot of fun while doing so. 34. 27 comments.

That's because you are still comparing Sekiro to the rest of souls games. Sekiro is much more action oriented and less of an RPG. They are different games. In my opinion if you are looking for an RPG then other souls games are obviously better suited. But if you want an action game with amazing and precise combat, then Sekiro wins every time.

You can literally hold the sprint button the entire fight and run around to his arse and just chop away at him and he won’t be able to hit you, just run a bit wide. It doesn’t have to be a sequel, they can create another game but with the same mechanics and combat system of Sekiro. Just like they did with Dark Souls-Elden Ring. 3. timestalker78.Sekiro is a hard game, and you've done well to get this far. As with any boss, you just need to learn his attacks and how best to counter them. I find Isshin is one of the bosses where running and dodging works well instead of trying to deflect.Sakura bull most powerful enemy confirmed. Only enemy Sekiro can't deathblow successfully. My vote is for Armored Warrior - he can eat deathblows for breakfast and not even lose any HP. The centipede monks are up there too, but at least standard deathblows knock them out for a bit. For real, if Giant Dad didn't hang out on that bridge with ...I would definitely buy Sekiro. One thing I'll say, while there are similarities in the combat of Sekiro and Ghost, there are a lot of differences as well. I'd say the combat in GoT is much more forgiving than Sekiro. While GoT is very story focused, Sekiro is very "boss battle" focused, just like most From Soft games.Playing Sekiro on Easy Mode has been an incredibly fun experience! I know after my last topic there isn't a person on this forum who wants to hear from me again or agrees with me on anything, but even so I too adore the souls games and the ones I finished I loved enough to play through to the end. Sekiro tho, that was too much for me.
